At boundless bessarabian steppes of Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy district, in some kilometers of settlement Nikolaevka the summer health-improving tent camp for the inmates of The Way Home is opened at the territory of the camp site “Wave”. The camp is functioning with support of "World Childhood Foundation" founded by Sweden Queen and International Foundation “Revival”.
At the 25th of June inmates and workers of the Way Home set up the tents and equipped the place for the field kitchen. Any problems won`t be with water and electricity there, because the camp site is situated nearby and their government meets the Way Home halfway and provides young tourists with everything they need. Concerning the location of the tent camp, we should say that you can see the sea from the place of the camp, and it takes 5 minutes to get there. Exactly at these places the heroes of the book “White sail is showing up white” by Valentine Kataev lived in summer – description of steppes and precipices can be found at the first chapters of classic`s narrative.
Returning to the inmates of the Fund, we should mention that children had the cleaning day, cleaned the cam territories of litter, set up the tents and equipped the field kitchen. Every day kids spend much time at the sea, go to the discotheques to the camp site, play outdoor games and, in one word, actively spend time.
In the next few days the arriving of volunteers from different countries is expected. The leaders of the Way Home thank Nikolay Ivanovich Stoykov (the chairman of the village Nikolaevka) for help in organization of the camp.
